I was recently  interviewed by Anthony Carranza for an article on US relations with Latin America for El Comercio, one of the largest newspapers in Ecuador with a 68k daily circulation and 152k for Sundays edition. This was quite a surprise and an honor to have the opportunity to be mentioned in a newspaper in Ecuador.

Colombia and the United States have signed an agreement that would grant the United States access to seven military bases in the South American country. The two countries say that this is all part of an effort to boost anti-drug and counterinsurgency operations. This deal, however, is not going over too well with leaders like Hugo Chavez who say that this pact will destabilize the region. RT’s Dina Gusovsky speaks to author and journalist Eva Golinger from Caracas, Venezuela.
