Michelle Bachmann was the guest of honor at a recent question and answer session for the Independence Institute, a libertarian organization from Colorado. In response to a question about the current health care proposal she said:
“This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn’t pass.”

The current state of politics in the United States is pathetic and highly partisan. In practice, this form of government will not continue to work. This partisan behavior is both abhorrent and un-American. It is because of this behavior that America is facing a crisis today. Not only are we facing a financial crisis, but also one that has far greater implications. America is facing a crisis of morality.

This news just came across the wire not more then 30 minutes ago. It is official, Ron Paul has won a straw poll that was conducted by the notorious CPAC. You can see one of the speaker’s remarks here. Although this remark is one of less-professional of the bunch. But, calling your president a cocaine abuser seems to be popular.

“T-Pa” as President? You better believe it! The one-man veto machine (commonly referred to as Governor Pawlenty) might be taking his show on the road. He has recently announced his intentions to not run for a third term as Governor of Minnesota. This means that he has something else up his sleeve because it would be very odd for Pawlenty, at age 48, to end his political career.
