Port-au-Prince, Haiti (CNN) — Earthquake victims, writhing in pain and grasping at life, watched doctors and nurses walk away from a field hospital Friday night after a Belgian medical team evacuated the area, saying it was concerned about security.

It is being widely reported that the US will be sending up to 10,000 troops into Haiti and deployed off the coast of Haiti. With two wars currently being fought and many other operations conducted throughout the globe the US military often gets harsh criticism launched its way.
