1. New Jersey Nets – John Wall – PG – Kentucky (Favors probably fits more of a need, can a Devin Harris/John Wall backcourt work?
2. Minnesota Timberwolves – Derrick Favors – PF – Georgia Tech (Trade somewhere, they need everything but a PF, maybe Aldrich or Wes Johnson here too, I’d say Turner too, but they don’t need another player that has to have the ball in his hands)
3. Utah Jazz (New York Knicks) – Cole Aldrich – C – Kansas (I thought Turner would work here too, maybe Wes Johnson too, but can they really continue to use Okur as their C in the West and expect to be competing for the finals? I think Okur is a really good player, but not a C in the West. Same with Brewer at SG and Kirilenko at SF. Just too many various parts, need to make some trades, getting rid of Boozer or Millsap for a legitimate SG might be the first step.)
4. Memphis Grizzlies – Wesley Johnson – SG/SF – Syracuse (I like Turner here too, but I think Mayo wants to have the ball in his hands and I believe Gay will be gone by next season. Remember Mayo said earlier in this season that he sees himself as the next Deron Williams)
5. Golden State Warriors – Donatas Motiejunas – PF – Lithuania (I think this is a little too high for him, but he just seems like a Don Nelson guy. Nelson will force himself to see Nowitzki in this guy)
6. Sacramento Kings – Willie Warren – PG – Oklahoma (I can see Ed Davis going here too if they think Thompson could be a SF, I just don’t think Hawes or Thompson will ever really be able to hold a guy like Duncan down. Beno seems to be having a much better year so Davis could be a big possibility, but I don’t see them passing on another franchise PG, this sets their backcourt up for the next ten years)
7. LA Clippers – Evan Turner – PG/SG/SF – Ohio State (I realize they have Baron and he’s being paid a lot of money, but I just don’t see them winning games consistently with him at the helm, besides the year where GS beat Dallas has he ever really been part of a winning team? I really like Turner here because it allows them to have Gordon guard 1s and Turner guard 2s, even though Gordon is a pretty good defender. EG is not only strong but very quick and PGs will have a really tough time establishing any kind of offense. Gordon, Turner, and Griffin are an extremely good starting 3 for the future. Ultimately Turner will probably go higher in this draft.)
8. Milwaukee Bucks – Ed Davis – PF – North Carolina (For the second year in a row the Bucks get the best player available at a need position. Along with Bogut they will make a very promising frontcourt. I think Skiles will like Davis a lot more than Charlie V. Ilyasova is not the long term answer at PF.)
9. Washington Wizards – Xavier Henry – SG/SF – Kansas (Nick Young just doesn’t seem like he’ll be anything more than instant O on the bench, and that’s with him being consistent, he has all the skill and athleticism in the world, but just never seems to really be able to put it all together consistently. I can’t imagine Foye or Miller will be resigned either, hopefully they can get rid of Arenas or Jamison too.)
10. Toronto Raptors – Solomon Alabi – C – Florida State (I thought Aminu would work here too if they feel Derozan is their future SG, but they’ve had difficulties on the Defensive side of the ball for years now and really don’t have anybody to protect the rim, sorry Bosh, you’re not that guy, and unfortunately for Toronto you’ll probably be gone by next season, a Turkoglu/Bargnani/Alabi frontcourt doesn’t sound bad, does it?)
11. Indiana Pacers –Al-Farouq Aminu – SF – Wake Forest (I know Bird would really like to get an athletic rim protecting C here, but he’ll have to stick with the improving Roy Hibbert for another year. I think this team’s drafting is hard to peg and I almost want to stick the best college Senior here, but I think Stanley Robinson might be a reach here, so I decide they go with the best player available, something I’m sure they won’t do. I’m sure Monroe will go here, but I just want to go with basic logic here and have them take the best player available. Why would you take Monroe when you just took Psycho T last year and still have Troy Murphy making over $10 million a year? Larry Bird you’re play astounded us, but your decision making confuses us.)
12. Oklahoma City Thunder- Greg Monroe – PF – Georgetown (I originally had Aminu going to Toronto, Ebanks going to to Indiana, and Alabi going here, but I just don’t think they need another project frontcourt player (Ibaka, Mullens). I like Monroe a lot, and I don’t see what people see when they say he’s not aggressive enough, they said the same things about Jeff Green, these Georgetown guys are just trying to be “team” guys and play their rolls, they know their NBA time will come, right now they’re listening to their coach and trying to compete for an NCAA title. Could they go with one of the two elite swingmen left in Ebanks and George even though they have Durant and Green?)
13. Detroit Pistons – Larry Sanders – PF – Virginia Commonwealth (They took a plethora of SF/PFs in Summers, Daye, and Jerebko last year so I don’t see them going for Ebanks or George, but I do believe they see a big time defensive stopper in Sanders, I don’t believe Dumars sees the strength of Big Ben in him, but he does see that same kind of defensive game changer in Sanders, I just hopes he is able to develop some strength, otherwise the Pistons will have the skinniest future frontcourt in Daye and Sanders, can you imagine them being a WWE tag team… two near seven footers with a combined weight of 400lbs…)
14. New Orleans Hornets – Devin Ebanks – SF – West Virginia (Julian Wright is looking like a disaster of a draft pick, an athlete more than a basketball player, so they take Ebanks who looks much stronger this season, and much more aggressive, albeit in only one game. Can they really continue to pay Posey and play Wright at the SF spot and expect to be competing for a title? They need to start putting “real” talent around Paul, they also need to trade Okafor and hopefully get a starting SG or SF in return.)
15. Minnesota Timberwolves (Charlotte Bobcats) – Paul George – SF – Fresno State (Best player available that fits a need. This will also depend on what they decide to do with Favors, but honestly, as an embarrassed Wolves fan, they have by far the worst group of swingmen in the NBA. Gomes is far too slow to guard 3s and far too small to guard 4s, Brewer has to be the worst starter in the League, I can’t believe some of you think he’s a decent role player, trust me, he’s not even that, please do me a favor, go onto one of the two Twin Cities newspapers (Star Tribune, Pioneer Press) and read what people think of him after they see him play. I can’t tell you how many times this season he has come down the court, tried to do too much off the dribble, and either has lost the ball or had his shot blocked. His out of control offensive game is also coupled with his insistence to over play the man he’s guarding to try to go for the steal on 9 out of 10 defensive trips down the court, then somebody has to step out to guard the guy Brewer was on opening their guy for an open shot or an easy basket if it’s Big Al or Ryan Hollins having to step out. This happens throughout their games, plus he can’t make an open jump shot to save his life, but if there’s one good thing about him, is that he has to be the quickest player in the league that’s 6’8″ or taller, great for track and field, but the problem for him is that he lacks any kind of basketball skill. I don’t even want to think about Pavlovic or Ellington; neither of those guys belongs on NBA rosters. It will be imperative that the Wolves get starters at SG, SF, and C this next offseason, Aldrich may be their best bet at the #2 spot if they feel he can become a Brook Lopez type, plus there’s no real free agent Cs in next year’s vaunted offseason.)

what about Craig Brackins from Iowa?
brackins is a joke as far as im concerned. he plays diff positions ok but isn’t really GREAT at any of them
Stanley. Robinson.
I like Brackins, but he’s a year older than his class, which would make him 23 before next season, which in NBA scout terms means he has less “potential” than other players who are younger. He’s a pretty decent offensive player though, but doesn’t really have the quickness or athleticism to ever be more than a sixth man or situational starter. I’ve heard a lot of scouts comparing to him to ex-Vancouver Grizzly Shareef Abdur Rahim, meaning he has a lot of Small Forward offensive skill in him (Shooting Range, Ball Handling), but just doesn’t have the necessary quickness to be an NBA swingman. Luckily for him he is 6’10″, so he definitely has the size to be a PF, and he’s also a good rebounder, but I just didn’t see him getting drafted over these 15.
