Michelle Bachmann was the guest of honor at a recent question and answer session for the Independence Institute, a libertarian organization from Colorado. In response to a question about the current health care proposal she said:
“This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn’t pass.”

The state populations from the 2010 US Census have been released. The states with the biggest growth are Wyoming, Utah and Texas. This means that redistricting and changes in Congress are soon to happen. It looks like Minnesota, Missouri and Illinois could lose one seat and Ohio could lose two.

The following was written by Michele Bachmann & Andrew C. McCarthy.
There is no justifying the Obama administration’s decision to grant a civilian trial to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other 9/11 plotters who carried out the deadliest act of war ever committed on U.S. soil. The president must not grant the worst of war criminals the same constitutional rights enjoyed by the nearly 3,000 U.S. citizens they massacred on 9/11. If he won’t reconsider, Congress must act.

The book tour is in full swing and already the media circus has found Sarah Palin just like water flowing downhill will always follow the path of least resistance. It seems like this is exactly what Palin had in mind when she “wrote” her book, “Going Rogue.” In great publicity moves she has managed to start battles with Letterman, Obama, FoxNews and many other people and organizations. This of course elicits one of two responses, either a positive, “go get ‘em, Sarah!” response or the more common and candid, “what the $#@!” response.
