Finland has become the first country in the world to declare that high speed internet access is a legal right. Finnish telecommunications companies will be required to provide the 5.2 million people of Finland with internet access at a speed of one megabit per second.

I never took an economics course in college and this is something that I deeply regret. Recently, China announced that they would allow their currency (the Yuan) to float more freely. In their economy they have tighter controls and restrictions, specifically; they have artificially devalued their currency. This means that their Yuan is worth less then what it would be if they did not devalue it.

Well, the first year or so of Obama’s administration has been interesting. The healthcare battle seems to finally be over as the Democrats have successfully pushed through the much needed reform bill. But, the war for reform has just begun and if the previous battle was any indication, it will not be easy.
