Michael Steele has come under recent criticism from almost everyone for comments he made last week. He essentially said that the war in Afghanistan is now a “war of Obama’s choosing” and that the US troops will fail.

The big speech was a few nights ago and Obama did a great job. He certainly brought a different tone with him as he delivered a stirring, informal and commanding address. Obama needed to make some points about his predecessor (Bush), about the direction of our country and about the opposition he is facing from the Republicans.

The once great MLB pitcher Curt Schilling has been known for his off the cuff remarks and fanatical and ignorant adherence to Republicanism. Schilling has made a number of remarks that can only lead me to believe he does not know what the Republican Party stands for.
